George Q. Yawn

Mr. George Q. Yawn, 72, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 16, 2011, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Born October 29, 1938 in Wilcox County, Georgia, Mr. Yawn was a son of the late Charlie Lee Yawn and Mary Lou Marchman Yawn. He was an Airman/Personnel Specialist in the United States Air Force and later retired from the Hallmark Card Company. Mr. Yawn is survived by his sister, Essie Y. Putt of Aurora, Colorado. Private family interment will be held at a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street, Americus, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
