Betty Ann Attyah

Mrs. Betty A. Attyah, 70, passed away Wednesday morning, April 20, 2011, at Magnolia Manor. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM Friday, April 22, 2011, from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery. Chaplain Will Archibald will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street. An assistant manager in the cafeteria at Cherokee Elementary School, Mrs. Attyah was the daughter of the late Robert L. Anglin & Ella Mae Key Anglin. She was the widow of Fred Attyah. Survivors include two sons, Fred E. Attyah & his wife Sandy of Fountain Hills, AZ, & Robert Andrew Attyah & his wife Sherry of Columbus, GA; & one daughter, Rachel Attyah Fuller & her husband Mark of Alabaster, AL; three grandchildren, Stephen Elias Fuller of Alabaster, AL, & Claire Elizabeth Attyah & Ely Andrew Attyah, both of Columbus, GA; & 5 nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Anglin. Flowers are welcomed, & the family also suggests memorial donations to Magnolia Manor, 2001 S. Lee St. Americus, GA 31709. Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street, Americus, GA is in charge of arrangements.
