Iola Adaline Crozier

Mrs. Iola Adaline "Tootsie" Crozier, 89, passed away Thursday morning, April 28, 2011 at Lillian Carter Health & Rehab Center in Plains. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Plains Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Clay County. A visitation will be held Friday, April 29, from 5:00 until 7:00 at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., Americus. Mrs. Crozier was born March 13, 1922 in Warren County, GA, a daughter of the late Waymon Henson & Myrtle Harbison Henson. She was a homemaker, a member of Plains Baptist Church, & a member of the PALS Group in Plains. She loved to work in her yard, was an excellent cook, a loving mother & grandmother, & she loved her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin Eugene Crozier, a son, Michael Eugene Crozier, 3 brothers & 1 sister. Survivors include two daughters, Gail Stayton and Gloria Jordan & her husband Lamar; a brother, Johnson Henson; grandchildren, Leslie Kokontis & her husband John, Natalie Walls & her husband Josh, Catherine Jordan, & William Jordan; & 2 great-grandchildren, Whitney Stayton & Kendall Kokontis.
