John Thomas, 81. died May 6, 2011 at his home in Auburn, Georgia. Mr. Thomas was born January 15, 1930 in Plains, Georgia to William L. Sr. and Allie Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Freddie and brothers William Jr., Walter and Bill. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 14, 2011 from the grave side at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains. Rev. Brooks Partain will officiate. The family will receive friends from about 12:30 until about 1:30 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street.
