Ann Franklin Bengtson

Mrs. Ann Bengtson, age 89, of 2001 South Lee Street, passed away late Tuesday evening, January 10, 2012 at Magnolia Manor. She will be cremated with a private memorial service at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. Born June 23, 1922 in Washington, DC, she was a daughter of the late Neal Dow Franklin and Ethel Sencindiver Franklin. She was a home maker, and was preceded in death by her husband, Nils Martin Bengtson. Survivors include a daughter, Jane Bengtson White of Tifton and a son, Dr. Neal M. Bengtson of Raleigh, NC.
