Patricia Esther Worley

Mrs. Patricia Esther Worley, age 67, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Vista Care of Columbus, GA. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street. Rev. Steve Golden will officiate. A visitation will be held preceding the funeral, beginning at noon Friday at Hancock Funeral Home. Born October 22, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Gladys Mitchell Carlisle. A member of Bethel Baptist Church, Mrs. Worley was a homemaker and a former President of the Southwest Georgia Epilepsy Foundation. Survivors include her two sons, Todd Worley & his wife Spring and Robert Skinner; a brother, James Adron Carlisle & his wife Mary Frances; three sisters, Martha Skinner & her husband Jerry, Ruby Richardson & her husband Herbert, and Delores Melly; grandchildren, Marcus Sizemore & Andrea Grant; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Worley was preceded in death by her husband John Worley. Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., is in charge of arrangements.
