Marilu Pesina

Mrs. Marilu Pesina, 42, of Americus, passed away Friday morning, September 7, 2012, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM Sunday, September 9, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Martino Nguyen will officiate. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, September 8, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:30 PM, followed by a Rosary service from 8:30 until 9:00 PM, at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street. Burial services will be held at a later date in H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Born January 31, 1970 in Brownsville, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Juan Jesus Lara and Ana Maria Rangel Lara, who survives her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Javier Pesina. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mrs. Pesina was employed at CMI (Container Marketing Inc.) Survivors, in addition to her mother, include a daughter, Marilu Pesina; brothers: Juan Antonio Lara, Martin Lara & Sarai Cruz de Lara, and Juan Jesus Lara; a sister, Ana Maria Lara Rangel; nieces: Valeria Lara and Ana Lara; and nephews: Juan Jesus Lara, Martin Lara Cruz, and Jhonni Lara Cruz.
