Linda P Easom

Mrs. Linda P. Easom, 67, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services are planned for 11 AM on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Harbort and Rev. David Kitchens officating. Private interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 during the hour of 7-8 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street. Friends may call at other times at the family residence, 178 McMath Mill Road. Born November 25, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Pilcher and Edith Amerson Pilcher. Mrs. Easom was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and worked in administration and sales at Scott Bedding and Planters Hardware. Survivors include her husband George Allen Easom of Americus; daughters Lana Easom, Lauren Ayers and Nicole Ayers, all of Americus; son Clay Ayers of Americus; brother Sammy Pilcher (Mary Nan) of Ellaville; sisters Patricia Thornrose (Butch), Sue Pilcher and Debbie Pilcher, all of Americus; grandchildren Porschia Easom of USAF, TX, Daniela Easom and Chance Easom, both of Americus; great-grandson Gabriel Lawrence of Americus; sister-in-law Linda Pilcher of Ellaville; a very close friend Geraldine Scott of Jasper, AL; and a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Easom was preceded in death by a son Gregory Allen Easom, a daughter Lisa Easom Ayers, 2 brothers & a sister-in-law Tommy Pilcher and Bob & Amelia Pilcher.
