Mrs. Doris Ann Fields, 68, of Leslie, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her residence. A private family service and interment will be held at a later date at Talmadge Memorial Cemetery in Monticello, GA. Born May 30, 1944 in Social Circle, GA, she was a daughter of the late W. R. Hooper and Doris M. Shellnutt Hooper, who survives her. A 1963 graduate of McEvoy Girls High School in Macon, Mrs. Fields was employed in the clerical field in many places during her working career, and was a member of Leslie United Methodist Church. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two sons, Wally Pritchard (Amy) of Gray, GA and Ronald H. Pritchard, Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX; a daughter, Tracey Kearney of Troup, TX; a brother, W. R. Hooper, Jr. (Doreen) of Cordele; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Fields, and by a brother, James R. Hooper.
