Martha Arranie Arnold

Miss Martha Arranie Arnold, 96, passed away Friday evening, January 4, 2013, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at the Chapel at Magnolia Manor with Rev. Keith Parks officiating and Jonathan Parks providing musical accompaniment. A private family burial will follow later Wednesday afternoon at Brooksville Cemetery in Randolph County. Born July 23, 1916 in Randolph County, she was the daughter of David J. Arnold and Uva Bigby Arnold. Miss Arnold was a member of First Baptist Church in Americus and was retired after about 40 years' employment as the personal assistant to the Superintendent of the state Board of Education in Atlanta.
