Lt. Col. Sarah F. Niblack, US Army (Retired), 93, died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Private graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. John Brodess officiating. Born January 12, 1920, in Sumter County, Miss Niblack was a daughter of the late Clarence Elroy Niblack and Minnetta Lee Bruce Niblack. She was retired from the United States Army, having earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Survivors include a niece, Sarah Jean Crenshaw Owens of Pembroke, and nephews Ray H. Crenshaw of Byron and Philip Earl Crenshaw of Prescott, AZ. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred N. Crenshaw and Minetta L. Niblack, and by a brother, C. E.
