Wilson Edward Daniels

Mr. Wilson Edward Daniels, Sr., 83, passed away early Monday morning, June 17, 2013, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Tommy McConnell will officiate. Born August 8, 1929 in Troy, Alabama, he was a son of the late Noah Daniels and Ora Wilson Daniels. A member of the Baptist faith, Mr. Daniels was a Mason and a Shriner and worked as an insurance agent for United Insurance Company. Survivors include his children, Wilson Edward "Sonny" Daniels, Jr. (Libby) of Warner Robins; Tim Daniels of Americus; and Margie Daniels of Englewood, FL; a sister, Merle Adams (Bill) of LaHabra, CA; grandchildren, Bethany Daniels & Michael Daniels of Warner Robins; two sisters-in-law, Charisse Daniels of Americus; and Jane Daniels of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion Daniels and Ballard Daniels.
