Mr. Timothy Alan Spencer, age 51, passed away on Thursday morning, September 26, at his home in Carrollton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 30, at Rotherwood FCM, 1701 West Highway 5 in Whitesburg. Rev. Jeff Shelton will officiate. Visitation and viewing will directly preceed the funeral, beginning at 12:00 PM at the church. Pallbearers will include the following: Gary Bates, Adam Smith, Glenn Gullett, Adam Fulton, Josh Walker, Chip Crawley, Daryl Rigby and Mark Harper. Born March 14, 1962 in Carrollton, Tim was a son of the late Walter Eugene Spencer and Geneva Gerry Spencer, who survives him. He was a Baptist and was a member of the Ironworkers Local 387 in Atlanta. He loved life and the outdoors, fishing, nature, woods, riding back roads and ending up wherever the roads took him. He enjoyed flea marketing and antiquing, and carving canes. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Jackie Spencer; children, Patience Spencer (Danny Smith), Misty Dawn Reagan (John), William Church, Melissa Fulton (Adam), and Gary Bates (Carrie), 2 sisters: Pamela Rigby (Daryl) and Angela Crawley (Chip); 2 brothers: Barry Spencer (Cindy) and Jody Spencer; grandchildren: A.J. Fulton, Daesia Fulton, Aleyah Fulton, Sierra Bates, Kelsey Bates, Samantha Bates, Dominick Church, Kadin Church, Kaleigh Reagan and Drennon Reagan; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
