Ms. Ann Wise Gilbreath, 87, passed away Saturday morning, March 15, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center.Funeral services are planned for 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 19, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Bobby Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery in Plains.The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, March 18, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence of Tye & Richelle Bivins on Candy Cane Lane in Ellaville.Born February 9, 1927 in Plains, she was a daughter of the late Tyre Phillip Wise, Jr. and Lottie Meadows Wise. Mrs. Gilbreath was a registered nurse, having worked for 25 years at Lillian Carter Nursing Center in Plains. She was a member of Plains United Methodist Church and a former member of Rylander Methodist Church.Survivors include two daughters, Pat Bivins and Georgia Gilbreath Ronningen (Dave); grandchildren: Tye & Richelle Bivins, Lyn & Tim Smith, Ann Masters, Kelly & Nathan Christianson, and Scott Ronningen; great-grandchildren: Cody, Zack, Grace and Luke Bivins, Kristen and Kaitlyn Adkinson, Josh and Blake Masters, and Savannah and Landon Christianson; two sisters, Lottie Tanner and Tulula Cosby; one brother, J.M. Wise (Betty); special cousin, Helen Mayo; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a brother, Luther E.
