Mrs. Faye L. Saliba passed away Thursday evening, May 1, at Columbus Specialty Hospital. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 7, at Calvary Episcopal Church. Father Fredrick Buechner and Rev. Jim Smith will officiate.A visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Calvary Episcopal Church, and a reception will be held immediately following services.Born November 14, 1933 in Richland, she was a daughter of the late Leroy Lunsford and Ruth Mirkinson Lunsford. Mrs. Saliba was an accomplished musician on piano and organ for many churches throughout her life, and she played jazz piano in various dance bands. She graduated from Richland High School in 1950 and from Georgia Teachers College in 1954 with a BA in Organ. She was an elementary grade teacher in Camilla, GA, an Eastern Air Lines Hostess, an elementary grade teacher in Miami, FL, and office manager for the Vero Beach, FL Tax Assessors office. She was the mother of three boys, Ralph, Eric and Keith. She married Michael S. Saliba on May 8, 1993. She was a member of both First United Methodist Church and Calvary Episcopal Church.Survivors include her husband, Michael S. Saliba of Americus; son, Keith Stayer (Laurie) of Jacksonville; step-daughter, Angelia Bruce (Beau) of Marietta; step-son, Blair Saliba of West Melbourne, FL; brother-in-law, Neal Eades of Richland; two grandsons, Kyle Stayer and Jake Stayer; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and by two sons, Ralph Stayer and Eric Stayer.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to First United Methodist Church, 200 S.
