Mr. Donald Lamar Summerlin, 68 passed away on Wednesday morning, June 18, 2014, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Friday, June 20, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Brooks Partain officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, June 19, between the hours of 5:00 & 7:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home. Born March 26, 1946 in Carrollton, GA, he was a son of the late Walter & Addie Rean Jones. He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his wife, Sandra L. Summerlin of Americus; two daughters, Rebecca Licona of Albany and Eva Marie Allbritton (Tim Bagley)of Woodstock; and one granddaughter, Ciara White of Albany.
