Gary Brooks Partain

Mr. Gary Brooks Partain, age 60, of Comer, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 25. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 26, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. John Brodess and Rev. Brooks Partain officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Saturday at Hancock Funeral Home. Born December 2, 1953, he was a son of Brooks and Ann Partain. Gary was a freelance writer, a former employee of Locos Eastside in Athens, an artist, a musician, and a very loving husband. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Lamara Martin of Comer, his parents, Rev. Brooks Partain & Mrs. Ann Partain of Americus, brother, Flynn Partain (Gina) of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
