Mr. Harry T. Fuller, 94, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, September 30, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, at Central Baptist Church, with Dr. Bryan Myers and Rev. Hugh DeLoach officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Members of the Americus Lions Club are asked to serve as pallbearers, with grandsons and great-grandsons serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends between the hours of 12:30 and 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Central Baptist Church. Born August 16, 1920 in Jacksonville, FL, he was a son of the late William Lee Fuller and Lilly Odom Fuller. Mr. Fuller enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. He loved wildlife and watching the birds. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Americus Lions Club. Mr. Fuller was a World War II veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He was retired as a civilian contractor from the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, and worked for many years at the Martin Theater in Americus. Survivors include his wife, Alice Cagle Fuller of Americus; three daughters: Paula Braswell (Tom) of Marietta, Patricia F. Berry (Bobby) of Ellaville, and Nancy F. Phillips (Ron) of Plains; daughter in law, Elizabeth Mims of Dublin; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his son, Fadale Fuller, and by four brothers and two sisters.
