Linda Ann Cox

Ms. Linda Ann Cox, 60, of Preston, passed away on Sunday evening, October 19, at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 25, from the graveside at Ellaville Cemetery. Rev. Raymond Smith will officiate. Born September 7, 1954 in Moultrie, GA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. Cox and Irene Law Cox who survives her. Ms. Cox was a member of Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church in Ellaville. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two sisters, Donna Cox Daughtry and husband Jack, and Carla Cox Yarbrough and husband Olen; one brother, Gregory Thomas Cox and wife Allison; a brother-in-law, Oliver Diamantstein; one niece; eight nephews; and three great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, by her only child, Jeffery Thomas Cox, and by her sister, Wanda Cox Diamantstein.
