Mr. Richard Avery "Richie" King, 31, passed away on Saturday evening, October 25, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St. A private interment will follow in Thompsontown Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt. Born November 30, 1982 in Augusta, he was a son of the late David Lawrence King and Shirley Ann King. Survivors include one daughter, Miley Lynn Langley; one sister, Angela King Young (Charles E. Young) of Americus; one brother, David King (Suzette Boyd) of Florence, AL; three nieces: Heather King, Erica King, and Jessie King; two nephews: David King and Tony Sparks; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
