Mr. James Edwin Bramlett, 56, died very unexpectedly following an accidental fall at his residence on Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Liberty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 until time for the service to begin. Immediately after the interment service at the cemetery, the family will greet friends at the residence of Dewitt Webb, 1968 Highway 19, South. Born November 15, 1952, in Chamblee, GA, he was a son of the late John Terrell and Velma Mealor Bramlett. An avid hunter, he loved the great outdoors and had a deep love for his labrador retrievers. He was a printer by trade. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jason E. and Melissa Bramlett of Dacula; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary Terrell and Ellen Bramlett of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren, Hunter Bramlett and Macy Bramlett, both of Dacula; and his companion, Vicki Gee of Americus. A sister, Brenda Joyce Manis, preceded him in death. Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street, Americus, Georgia, is in charge of arrangements.
