Rebecca Burns Fretwell

Mrs. Rebecca Burns Fretwell, age 94, passed away on Monday afternoon, April 20, 2015, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, from the Martha McDonald Moore Memorial Chapel at Magnolia Manor. Pastor Lorenzo Hanna will officiate. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Moultrie. Friends may call on Friday at the Manor Chapel, between the hours of 10:00 & 11:00 AM. A Georgia native, she was born October 27, 1920, a daughter of the late Lofton Mason Burns and Annie Hines Burns. Mrs. Fretwell was of the Methodist faith and was a home maker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Fretwell; three sisters, Annette Burns Dickey, Mrs. Robert Harrell, and Mrs. Horace Odom; and one brother, William Lofton Burns. Survivors include her special friends, Pastor Lorenzo Hanna and Mrs. Peggy Hanna.
