Mrs. Lieselotte "Lilo" White, age 91, passed away on Saturday evening, May 30, 2015, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A private burial will be held on Monday, June 1, at Oak Grove Cemetery, with a memorial service to follow on Wednesday, June 3, at 2:30 PM, at Cornerstone Church, 245 Southland Drive in Americus (www.cornerstoneamericus.com). Pastor Kevin Brown will officiate. Born June 10, 1923 in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Friedrich Emil Bley and Frieda Anna Ziegler Bley. Mrs. White was a member of Cornerstone Church and was the retired owner of a beauty parlor. Survivors include two sons: Robert White of Americus and James C. White (Jean) of Thomaston; one daughter, Rev. Deborah White Broadwell (John) of Anderson, SC; her caregiver, Sheeba Cherian of Americus; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mavis White, by a son, Tony E. White; and by two sisters, Anna Lisa Schulze and Irmgard Koehler.
