Mr. Jose Hernandez, age 45, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, in Amory, Mississippi. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 26, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Father Fran (Padre Paco) Gillespie SJ, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with a Rosary service beginning at 8:30 PM. Born March 27, 1970 in Gonzalez Tamaulipas Mexico, he was the son of Cecilio Hernandez and Esther Hernandez Gonzalez. Mr. Hernandez was the manager of El Rey Restaurant in Amory, Mississippi. Survivors include his parents, Cecilio Hernandez and Esther Hernandez Gonzalez of Marietta; his wife, Maria Dolores Reyes of Americus; daughters: Suleima Hernandez and Alexsandra Hernandez, both of Americus; and sisters: Beatriz Jasso, Cecelia Hernandez, and Blanca Guzman, all of Marietta.
