Angela Carlotta Jones Patterson

Mrs. Angela Carlotta Jones Patterson, age 56, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 21, 2015, at her home in Plains. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 25, at Grace Community Church. Rev. Steven Hill will officiate. Born December 25, 1958 in Haverty Grace, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Charles T. Jones and Joann Bridges Johnson, who survives. A member of the Christian faith, Mrs. Patterson worked in management and waitressing within the food service industry in several restaurants in Sumter County. She enjoyed fishing, working, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, George Patterson of Plains; her mother, Joann Bridges Johnson of Sparta, WI; one daughter, Alicia Ellenburg (Ryan) of Americus; one son, Jonathan Ellenburg of White River Falls, WI; one step-son, William P. Patterson (Amber) of Albany; one sister, Betty Norton (Murray) of Adel; one brother-in-law, Norman Teebo of Sparta, WI; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and by a sister, Peggy Teebo.
