Mrs. Rosa Lee Crumpton Manning, age 94, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 22, in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. John Dent officiating. Burial is to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, December 21, between the hours of 5:00 & 7:00 PM, at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St. Born November 18, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Isaac Crumpton and Minnie Elizabeth Wilson Crumpton. Mrs. Manning was retired from Manhattan Shirt Factory and from Kinder Manufacturing Company where she worked in the sewing room. Survivors include a daughter, Irene Walker (Deke) of Americus; grandchildren: Sherrin Mira (Jeff) of Eufaula, AL, Selinn Legg (Mike) of Americus, Kai Walker of Cape Canaveral, FL, Tabatha Peshel of Dallas, GA, Tal Walker (Amanda) of Doerun, GA, and Micah Walker of Gainesville, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Manning; by a daughter, Christine Williams; by a grandson, Ray Williams; and by her eight siblings.
