Robert Paul Hines, Jr.

Mr. Robert Paul "Bobby" Hines, Jr., age 84, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015, at his home in Leslie. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 2, from the graveside at Leslie City Cemetery. Rev. Brooks Partain will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, January 1, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St. Born July 9, 1931 in College Park, GA, he was a son of the late Robert Paul Hines, Sr. and Mary Louise Humber Hines. Mr. Hines was a member of Leslie Baptist Church, a member of the Georgia National Guard, and was a civil service employee, retired after 35 years. After retirement, he owned his own business in Leslie, Callie's Antiques and Collectibles. Survivors include one brother, Hugh Hines (Callie) of Birmingham, AL; nephews: Paul Jeremy Hines (Lauren) and their children Lawson and Bree-Anne of Birmingham, and James Dooley Hines of Birmingham; and his longtime employee, friend and caregiver, Dale George of Leslie.
