Maurice William Boley (“Mo”) passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S Lee St. Born February 24, 1940 in Lowdens County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clyde W. Boley and Mabel Virginia Beamer Boley. Mr. Boley was a retired firefighter from the Miami-Dade County Fire Department, was a member of the Jaycees in Homestead, FL and coached little league football and baseball. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Frances Jackie Hilson Boley; 3 children, Dawn Sellers & her husband Tony of Jacksonville, Renee Boley of Americus & Clinton William Boley of Americus; 2 grandchildren, Justin Scharnow (Kathy) of Grandin, FL & Jessica Faye Gray (Blaise) of Jacksonville, FL; and 3 great-grandchildren, Brooke Scharnow, Baylee Scharnow & Blaise Gray, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation at P.O.
