Mrs. Erma Deloris Rees, age 77, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at her home in Leslie, GA. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 4, from the committal pavilion at Andersonville National Cemetery, with Rev. Steven Golden officiating. Born July 14, 1938 in Greentown, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Ralph W. Lamb and Ruby S. Lamb. Mrs. Rees was a home maker and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Rees, and by a son, David Rees. Survivors include two sons: Ron Rees (Melissa) of Leslie and Bill Rees (Sheila) of Americus; grandchildren: Will Rees (Jessie) of Americus, Dusty Rees (Cari) of Ellaville, Josh Rees (Shannon) of Kadena AFB, Japan, Jesse Rees (Courtney) of DeSoto, Anna Rees of Americus, Wade Gibson (Andrea) of Colonial Beach, VA, and Amy Finley (Don) of Michigan; great-grandchildren: Amanda Finley and Hunter Finley, both of Michigan; Davin Rees of Americus, Ethan Rees of Leslie, Kassi Rees, Kelli Rees, and Kody Rees, all of Ellaville, and Ansleigh Rees and Alice Rees, both of Kadena AFB, Japan; a brother, Dan Lamb of Greentown, IN; a sister, Phyllis Clark (Jack) of Americus; a daughter-in-law, Terri Rees of Leslie; and her beloved little Chihuahua, Molly.
