Susan O'Donnell Daniel

Susan O’Donnell Daniel, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 12, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Webster County, with interment to follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Robert Orr will officiate. The following gentlemen are asked to serve as pallbearers: Will Yochum, Tyler Yochum, Bryan Holbrook, Jonathan Holbrook, Gene Taylor, and B.J. Taylor. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, February 11, at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., between the hours of 6:30 and 8:30 PM, and at other times at the residence of Joe and Patsy Smith, 5366 Center Point Road in Webster County. Born April 14, 1958 in Scranton, PA, she was a daughter of Edward J. O’Donnell and the late Sandra Kovach O’Donnell. Ms. Daniel was a sales associate at Walmart in Americus for fifteen years, working most recently as bakery manager. Survivors include her parents, Edward J. O’Donnell and Barbara Lavage O’Donnell of Orlando, FL; her children: Heather Smith (Keith) and Jimmy Daniel, both of Center Point, GA; five grandchildren: Will Yochum, Tyler Yochum, Logan Smith, Darby Kay Britton, and Cassidy Britton; two brothers: John O’Donnell and Matthew O’Donnell, both of Orlando, FL; three sisters: Renee Taylor of Preston, Lisa Lightsey of Ocoee, FL, and Ellen Barron of Kissimmee, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Daniel was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lillian Covach.
