Mrs. Brenda Paul Coleman passed away on Tuesday evening, April 12, 2016, at her home in Americus. A celebration of life will be held, beginning at 6:00 PM, on Saturday, April 16, at the family home, 808 Highway 27 East, Americus. Friends may call on Friday, April 15, between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., and at other times at the family home, 808 Highway 27 East. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sumter Humane Society, 108 Industrial Blvd., Americus, GA 31719. Born June 9, 1959 in Columbus, GA, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy Paul and Nell Hewitt Paul. Mrs. Coleman was of the Christian faith and dearly loved her family. She was a home maker and a self-employed salesperson who enjoyed selling books on Amazon. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Russell Coleman, of Americus; two sons: Rusty Coleman (Cami) of Ellaville, and Spencer Coleman (Caley) of Temple; one daughter, Kate Coleman Ferguson (T.J.) of Chattanooga; four grandchildren: Hannah Coleman, Abby Coleman, MaKaylyn Coleman, and Brooks Coleman; one brother, Jimmy Paul (Kitty) of Dry Branch, GA; one sister, Lorrie Paul of Americus; and several nieces and nephews.
