Janice Diane Jones

Ms. Janice Jones, age 72, passed away on Tuesday evening, May 31, 2016, at Lillian Carter Health & Rehabilitation Center in Plains. Funeral services are planned for 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 5, from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Brooks Partain officiating. Born April 16, 1944 at Fort Benning in Muscogee County, she was a daughter of Carl Adams and the late Florence McQuiston Adams. Ms. Jones was retired as a secretary from the Army Base at Fort Benning, and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her father, Carl Adams of Plains; one sister, Kathy McCrary (Trent) of Plains; and one nephew, Donnie Whitley of Salem, AL.
