Trudy M. Gosa

Mrs. Trudy M. Gosa, 60, 110 LeConte Street, Smithville, passed away very early Saturday morning, July 11, 2009, at her residence. She is to be cremated, with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Smithville United Methodist Church. Rev. Mrs. Jan Connor will officiate. Born January 31, 1949, in Newport, Arkansas, Mrs. Gosa was a daughter of the late Issac Adylee and Leverda Inez “Jinx” McIntosh. For a number of years she assisted her husband in Gosa’s Aerial Ag, and was always a loving homemaker. She was a member of the Smithville United Methodist Church and the Sumter County Saddle Club. The family will receive friends at their residence. In lieu of flowers, family members suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Smithville United Methodist Church, c/o Ms. Margie Childers, 572 Childers Road, Smithville, GA 31787. Survivors include her husband, Johnny Reuben Gosa of Smithville; a daughter, Misty Dawn Collins of Plains, a son, Jeff Collins of Smithville, and a granddaughter, Laycee Lee Sumner of Smithville. Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street, Americus, GA,is in charge of arrangements.
