George D. Goepp

Mr. George David Goepp, age 93, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 29, 2016, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A native of Americus, he was born March 19, 1923, a son of the late John George Goepp and Gertrude Martin Goepp. Mr. Goepp was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in the 9th Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Americus, and was retired from the Panther Woods Country Club in Ft. Pierce, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marcella Webb Goepp. At his request, all services will be private. Left to cherish his memory are friends and relatives in Americus, Plains, Smithville, MS, and Ft. Pierce, FL.
