Mrs. Norma Lillian Tudahl Walters, age 93, passed away on Sunday morning, March 19, 2017, at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Services are planned for 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 25, at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Albany, with Dr. William D. Coker officiating. Burial will follow at a later time in Sarasota, FL. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday following the services. Born August 19, 1923 in Peterson, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late John Gynther Tudahl and Olga Tolstad Tudahl. She was a home maker who enjoyed arts and crafts, and participating in PTA and garden club activities. Mrs. Walters was of the Lutheran faith. She and her late husband, Lawrence Thomas Walters, resided in the Akron, OH area until retirement to Sarasota, FL where they lived for 20 years. Mrs. Walters relocated to Magnolia Manor in 2004 and lived there until 2014 when she moved to Lee County Health & Rehabilitation in Leesburg. Survivors include one son, Lawrence T. Walters, II (Linda) of Leesburg; one daughter, Lee Anne McClelland (James) of Medina, OH; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Gerry Bramlet of Dallas Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
