Judy Hardy Lyles

Mrs. Judy Hardy Lyles, age 63, passed away on Thursday evening, July 6, 2017, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Services are planned for 11:00 on Saturday, July 15, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Barbara Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, between the hours of 9:30 and 11:00 AM at Hancock Funeral Home preceding the services. A native of Americus, Judy was born June 28, 1954, a daughter of the late Juby Hardy and Thelma Frederick. She was a home maker and was dearly loved by her family. Survivors include five brothers: Ernest Fredrick, Leroy Hardy, and Marion Hardy, all of West Palm Beach, FL, and Charles Hardy and Robert Hardy, both of Americus; two sisters: Peggy A. Jackson of Americus, and Carolyn Hardy Moseley of Lake Park, FL; three grandchildren: Dezmond Lyles, Camron K. Lyles, and Jikyria Lyles; two devoted sisters-in-law: Alice Lyles and Josephine Tyson; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
