Mary Feist Tindol Goare of Richland, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Born Mary Ann Feist, in Bowdle, SD in 1934, she graduated from high school in New England, ND. She moved to Seattle, WA where her two children Carol Ann and Donald were born. Mary moved with her husband William Tindol to Richland, Georgia where she worked for the Head Start program in Stewart, Quitman, and Clay Counties for more than two decades. She was quite talented at needlework, sewing, and gardening, and quite often donated her tablecloths to charities for auctions. She loved the Atlanta Braves , the Seattle Seahawks, and her Josey Cat. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Tindol, who passed away in 2008, and her brother Vince Feist. She is survived by her daughter Carol Ann Fields of Everett, WA, granddaughter Kelsey James, and two great-grandchildren; her son Donald Olsby of Boise, ID, grandchildren Brittni Slaughter and Zachary Olsby; her siblings Jean Dangel of Camano Island, WA and Andy Feist of Aberdeen, South Dakota; her husband William Goare of Richland and his children Lawrence Goare of Atlanta and Mary Pontiff (Robert) of Fort Worth, TX. A memorial service is planned for 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, at Richland United Methodist Church, with Rev. Joey Cannon officiating.
