Mrs. Grace Weaver Turner, 95, passed away at Perfect Care early Tuesday morning, January 19. The family will receive friends at Hancock Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Hugh DeLoach will officiate. Born December 22, 1914, in Pickens Co., Mrs. Turner was a daughter of the late Henry George Weaver and Nellie Whitfield Weaver. She was the wife of the lat Watson Turner who preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1995. Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and a very active member of Central Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She participated in the Kathleen Gardner Sunday School Class, the Silvertones, the WMU, and was a teacher in the Junior department of Sunday School for many years.
