Rennie Eudora Mallard

Mrs. Rennie Eudora Mallard, age 78, of Windermere, Florida, formerly of Americus, passed away Sunday evening, February 21, at the Ocoee Health Care Center in Florida. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, February 26, at Andersonville National Historic Site. Rev. Hugh DeLoach will officiate. A visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Friday at Hancock Funeral Home. Born February 28, 1931 in Sumter County, Mrs. Mallard was a daughter of the late Roland Averett and Lizzie Lou Brown Shaw Averett. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Americus, and was a payroll clerk at Georgia Southwestern College. Mrs. Mallard was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Mallard, and her son, Larry R. Mallard. Survivors include two daughters, Pam Fouché of Orlando, FL and Linda Long of Flowery Branch, GA; and one son, George M. Mallard of Boston, MA. Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street, Americus, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
