Johnny Price

Mr. Johnny Price, age 53, passed away at his home west of Americus on Monday morning, April 5, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home with family members officiating. Following the service, Mr. Price will be cremated. Mr. Price, a native American, was born on May 10, 1956, in Greeneville, Texas. He was a Baptist and a very hard worker on the Minor farms in Sumter County. He loved to hunt and fish, and any other activity that is provided by being outdoors. The family will receive friends at Hancock Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6. Survivors include a son, John Wayne Price, Jr. of Americus; a granddaughter, Emily Price of Americus; another family member, Bonita Saddle Blanket and her husband, Russell Reyes, of Americus; and his best friend, Nita Centerfitt of Americus.
