William Harris Dudley

Mr. William H. Dudley, age 69, of Jackson, MS, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2010, in the River-Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, MS. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, in Oak Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Todd Lowery officiating. Born April 17, 1941, in Opelika, AL, Mr. Dudley was a son of the late William Harris Crawford Dudley and Patricia Holmes Davis Dudley. He was a graduate of Opelika High School where he was a member of the golf team. He received a degree in Industrial Psychology from Auburn University and enjoyed membership in the ATO fraternity. Mr. Dudley served as a district manager for S and H Green Stamps, the Munford Company, and the WE Walker Co. based in Jackson, MS. Survivors include two daughters, Charma Feldmar and her husband Brad of Chicago, IL, and Bethany Dudley of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Martha Holt and her husband John D. of Jackson, MS; a niece, Mary Catherine Holt-Evans of Nashville, TN; and a number of cousins. One sister, Mary Dudley, preceded him in death. Hancock Funeral Home, Americus, Georgia, 229-924-3645, is in charge of arrangements.
