John Eugene Hulse

Mr. John Eugene Hulse, 77, passed away on Saturday morning, June 12, 2010, at Lillian Carter Nursing Center in Plains. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, at Morningside Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Hancock Funeral Home from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 14. Born December 31, 1932, Mr. Hulse was a son of J. and Frances Hulse. He was a supplies supervisor, working at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Hulse, in 1990. Survivors include his mother, Frances Abdella; his daughter, Angel McCannon of Craig, CO; two grandchildren, Kelli Odom of Hull, GA & Kristi Odom of Atlanta; two great-grandchildren, Nikolas Odom & Natalie Odom, both of Hull, GA; one brother, Norman Abdella, and a long-time friend and caregiver, Tulula Cosby of Smithville. Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street, is in charge of arrangements.
