Margaret Lavilla Bryan

Mrs. Margaret LaVilla Paradise Bryan, 84, passed away on Friday, December 3, in Perfect Care. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Hugh DeLoach officiating. The family will have lunch at 12:30 p.m. at the church and then receive friends prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Members of the Kathleen Gardner Sunday School Class and the Silvertones of Central Baptist Church are requested to serve as honorary pallbearers. Born July 13, 1926, in Lincolnton, Georgia, Mrs. Bryan was a daughter of the late Dewey Paradise and Fannie Belle Downer Paradise. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and a former administrator in the Putnam General Hospital. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church, 190 Upper River Road, Americus, GA 31709. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gale and Dennis Brown of Milledgeville; a son, Ronnie Bryan of Americus; a grandson, Jamey Brown of Milledgeville; three granddaughters, Tiffany Cheek and Rita Dunaway, both of Hawkinsville, and Donna Kitchens of Americus; seven great grandchildren, Matthew Brown and Addison Lynn Brown, both of Hawkinsville, Bradley Kitchens and Morgan Kitchens, both of Americus; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her husband, Dillard Bryan, preceded her in death in September, 1993.
