Anita Louise Franklin

Anita Louise Franklin, age 74, passed away on Sunday morning, May 26, 2024 at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. Born in Atlanta, Mrs. Anita was the daughter of the late Marion and Barbra Adams. She spent many years working in automobile repair as an alternator/starter rebuilder for AAA Alternator. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Bankston (Chris) and Tonia Lowman (Gregg); her son Ronald Smith II; her brother, Phillip Adams; her sister Sangee Adams (Terry); her brother-in-law, Jim Martino; her daughter-in-law, Susan Parks; her six grandchildren, Joshua Smith (Marissa), Devon Smith, Jamie Parks, Whitney Parks, Britney Parks, and Hannah Hudgins; her eight grandchildren, Sophia Smith, Avalyn Smith, Ryder Smith, Domi Parks, Kota Parks, Heath Parks, Elliot Parks, Mackenzie McClenny; as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Heath Parks and Stephen Smith; her brother, Steve Adams; and her sisters, Tina Nelson and Bonnie Martino.
