Mrs. Anita Collins Rundle, age 84, passed away on Saturday, April 30, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Monday, May 2, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wendy J. Peacock officiating. Private interment services will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday between the hours of 3:00 & 4:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Todd and Christine Rundle in Americus. Born August 27, 1937 in Ambrose, GA, Mrs. Rundle was a daughter of the late James Ralph Collins and Frances Virginia Moore Collins Clements. She was a registered nurse, whose career spanned over 40 years, including six years in the United States Navy. Some of her fondest memories were of the adventures she had while in the Navy. Mrs. Rundle loved to travel and loved her family and her country. She was a former member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Calvin Williams of Americus, and Lee Ann and Mark Wildman of Macon; a son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Christine Rundle of Americus; and six grandchildren: Lawton Williams (Skye), Ansleigh Williams, Macy Williams, Tanner Rundle, Trent Rundle, and Gracen Wildman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. T.J. Rundle; and by her sister, Carolyn Voss.
