Mr. Anthony Ray "Tony" Lambert, age 37, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Services are planned for 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 30, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Bryan Bentley officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 1:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home. The staff of Hancock Funeral Home would like to issue a gentle reminder to all attendees that, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing should be observed and the use of face masks is suggested. Born October 8, 1984 in Americus, he was a son of Constance Ann Fountain and the late Thomas Lee Fountain. He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his mother, Constance Ann Fountain; brother, Joshua Michael Lambert (Vickie); sister, Mary Elizabeth Lambert; grandmother, Rosa Margene Sheets; aunts: Donna Raper (Jayce) and Lisa Rooks (Brad); niece, Kaitlyn Davis; nephews: Matthew Cole Lambert and Ryan Lambert; and many cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two uncles: Keith Holloway and Anthony Holloway.
