Audrey Taylor

Ms. Audrey Taylor passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at her home in Montezuma. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Friday, January 21, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Wendy Peacock officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellaville. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM on Friday at Hancock Funeral Home. Born September 3, 1957 in Schley County, she was a daughter of the late Leon Taylor and the late Doretta Barnes Taylor. She was a loving, caring, kind person who was there when nobody else was. She was a loving aunt, sister, sister-in-law, grandma and friend, and she will be missed dearly and loved always. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Yarborough. Survivors include one sister, Joyce Fountain; one brother, Jerry Taylor (Gloria); grandchildren: Da'Shaun Jones, Maaliyah Patterson, and Jayla Sky; her boyfriend, Ricky Felker; five nephews: Phillip Fountain (Emilee), Charles Fountain, Jr. (Ashley), Oscar Garcia, Jr. (Melissa), Shannon Taylor (Holly), and Cody Taylor (Amber); and one niece, Melinda Garcia.
