Blanche Freeman Palmer, 93, passed away Thursday, November 7, at her home in Americus, Georgia.
Born on November 8, 1930 in Albany, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James and Katie Freeman. She worked for a number of years as the office manager for Pace Insurance in Albany. She was also a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Americus.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Blanche is preceded in death by her husband, T.E. Palmer, and two daughters, Jill Palmer Lingo and Jan Palmer Moretz.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Ivy Cazier (Andrew), Meghan Steel (Jeremy), Lelan Moretz (Misty), Erin Lingo, and Trevor Lingo; her great grandchildren, Dana Berry, Scarlet Cazier, Ellie Steel, and Jillian Lingo; and her niece, Kay Layfield.
The family will be receiving friends for visitation at 201 W. College Street, on Thursday, November 14, between the hours of 11:00AM to 2:00PM.
