Bradley Lee Herrington

Mr. Bradley Lee Herrington, age 62, passed away early Saturday morning, January 22, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany. A visitation is planned for Thursday, January 27 at 5:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with services to follow at 6:30 PM. Born September 25, 1959 in Americus, he was a son of the late Floyd Lee Herrington and the late Grace Kitchens Herrington. At the time of his death, he was employed in sales at Railway Freight in Albany, where he loved his job and enjoyed interacting with customers. Brad was of the Christian faith and was an outgoing people person. He formed many lasting friendships during the years when he coached travel baseball. He enjoyed sitting in his recliner watching sports on big TV's, especially Georgia football, and he dearly loved his grandsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth "Beth" Adkins. Survivors include his children: Russ Herrington (Susie McCrary), Sarah Elizabeth "Betsy" Herrington Hardy (Ezekiel Hardy), and Whitney Herrington Bowen (Dustin Bowen); and grandsons: Knox Auburn Herrington, Laden Kohl Murfin, Grayson Sims Herrington, Andrew Tyler Bowen, and Jacob Alexander Bowen.
