Mr. Brandon Eugene Dukes, 19, passed away on Saturday morning, February 23, 2019. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 28, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Pastor Jamie Grantham and Deacon Matt Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, February 27, between the hours of 6:00 & 8:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home. Born April 20, 1999 in Americus, he was a son of Timothy Dukes and Melissa Ann Hernandez.  He was of the Baptist faith. A graduate of Perry High School, Brandon was employed in the garden center and electronics department of Wal-Mart in Americus.  He enjoyed ghost hunting, tandem jumping, and karaoke, and he loved his Mustang. Survivors include his parents: Timothy & Brenda Dukes and Melissa Ann & Roberto Hernandez; brothers: Eric Hernandez, Bradley Dukes, and Christopher Foster (Erica); sisters: Ashleigh Ramirez (Carlos), Karina Hernandez, and Ashleigh Foster; grandparents: Jan Underwood, Mike Underwood, Theresa Dukes, Tommy Dukes, Patricia Scott, and James F. Scott; girlfriend, Paige Hunnicutt; uncles: Jeffery Scott, Keith Underwood (Jana), Tommy Underwood (Donna), Steven Underwood (Megan), and Wes Hargrove; great-uncle and aunts, Edward & Yvonne Scott and Joyce Bryant; and several cousins.
